Creative Open Call
Female creatives or female-led creative organisations based in East Africa (Kenya, Somalia, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania) are invited to submit proposals for our Creatives Open Call closing on the 30 November 2023.
The Australian High Commission in Kenya continues to support the vibrant East African creative sector, and this year we are offering grants of up to $10,000 AUD for projects or events delivered by female artists/creatives or female-led creative/arts organisations.
To be eligible to apply your creative project or event must be delivered between January and July 2024 in Kenya, Somalia, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania or regionally across these countries; you must be an individual, collective or organisation operating in the arts/creative sector; it must be female-led; and engage with the public in-person or digitally. Where possible, we would also like to identify opportunities for virtual or in-person collaborations with Australian creatives.
